Meet Duke of GAP!
This handsome 4 year old boy has only just landed his orange Dodge at GAP HQ though he’s aleady growing tired of Roscoe P. Colhound’s ruse and think’s it’s about time he hightails General Lee right back out of GAP County.
Duke entered the GAP program with his step-sister Dolly, which has made it a little difficult to see what kind of home he would best suit without her. Duke LOVES his toys and prefers to keep them to himself. Dolly has learned Duke’s behaviour so this hasn’t shown to be a problem here but if his new family had another dog, you would need to be vigilant around toys. It’s for this reason that we also feel he will do best without small children. Duke has shown that he does prefer having company and would best fit a home with another canine or casual workers.
Duke is super excitable and young at heart. He has a lot of playful personality so his new home will need to be prepared for a barrel of laughs and lots of activity.
Whilst it’s not essential, we would prefer that Duke and Dolly are rehomed together. This would make their transition into their new home a lot easier as they would have each other for support. Contrary to belief, it can often be a much easier experience adopting a pair so don’t be afraid to enquire!
