Introducing Abigreyl! We bet you will fall in love with this gorgeous blue girl, or should we say "grey" girl.
Sweet, shy and quiet natured Abigreyl requires a quiet home and a quiet life, where her humans are always home so she can learn how to be a pet at her own pace. A quiet, calm and relaxed home without any hustle and bustle would help nurture this sweet little soul. A place to retreat when things get scary will help Abbi, her own sanctuary/quiet area to retreat to will help her grow confidence.
Abigreyl needs a home with no kids and an experienced dog owner who can help her grow her confidence in a brand new home environment. Miss Abbi has a lot of love to give but is shy around new people but can warm up over time with treats and a slow exposure to new things.
Abigreyl could go home with another medium to large dog as she enjoys the company of other doggies, she has met greyhounds before and bonds with the right calm and chill greyhound. Abigreyl loves treats like chicken and pigs ears and loves being indoors with her humans as she is a bit of a "homebody". She has shown that she has good toileting manners and will wait to go to the toilet outdoors. If Abigreyl lives in a home with a backyard, she needs opaque and tall fencing in her backyard, as she likes to peer over short fencing.
Abigreyl could live in an apartment in a quiet area where her humans are always home. The best thing for Abbi would be a slow introduction to the big wide world, so if she was living in an apartment she would enjoy only venturing out into the world for a toilet break then heading back inside.
The best thing for Little Miss Abbi would be a quiet life with less walks. She doesn't mind short walks on a quiet route where there are no other people/cars, perhaps a short bush walk or evening stroll to stretch her legs and get a sniff, or just some time in the yard sniffing for a treat scatter to mentally enrich her. She never pulls on the lead and trots beside you.
Abigreyl is available to foster from our Western Sydney adoption facility to foster, or adopt if the right experienced owner comes along :-)
