ANDY (GREENHOUND)

on-hold

*FOSTER CARER UPDATE*

Andy is adjusting really well to pet life. He is quite active and loves to be outside so would love somewhere with a backyard to run around in. Though most of the day he happily naps on the lounge or out in the sun. Good on walks, he still freezes occasionally but much less than at first. He is very food motivated and will follow you anywhere if you have a treat.

Andy loves people and readily accepts pats from anyone. Kids are a bit overwhelming for him at first but if they are gentle and he gets to know them he is good with them too. He tolerates other dogs but gets scared if they bark and would prefer to be the only dog in the house.

As for household stuff he is great, not worried by the vacuum or tv noises. He took a while to go down the few stairs we have but manages them okay now.

Overall he’s pretty easygoing and will love someone who is home most of the time that he can follow around and have a snuggle with.

Your life will be fine and dandy if you choose to adopt Andy! This 5 yr old blue boy is ready to stroll on in to his forever home. Andy is dog who prefers his life to be low key and as simple as possible. He can be a little strong on lead at first but is making great strides with us here at GAP. He loves all things treats, from liver to cheese, you have it and he will be there! As Andy is quite sensitive, we believe he’d prefer to live his simple life somewhere rural or semi-rural with no kids. He loves to chill out and laze the day away as long as he has company of the human kind. Andy is also quite social with other greyhounds so he would love a calm easy going girlfriend (or two!) but still needs slow introductions to other small to large breed dogs. If you live the quiet life and need someone equally quiet to share it with, Andy’s your man.

He has just been greenhounded!
