Basil is a handsome 5 year old boy with the cutest little face you've ever seen. He's a big sweetheart that loves people and can't wait to be a part of a family.

Bazzy's favourite past-time is going for walkies! His tail just doesn't stop wagging! He can be a little strong on leash and does walk best on a harness, but he's learning how to walk gently.

He loves chasing soft toys around the yard and is very clever with treat puzzles.

Basil does have irritable bowel disease (IBD), so he requires a diet of hypoallergenic food, and this is all he can have as treats as well. (Don't worry, he's a guts and he loves his special food anyway!)  GAP will provide a large bag of Royal Canin Hypoallergenic food to get Basil's new family started.

This fun-loving guy doesn't worry if he is left alone for more extended periods as long as he has a backyard. Best suit a home with teenage or no children. Basil is also suited to being an only dog. He sustained an injury to his hock in the past, but it is now fully healed, vet checked and not bothering him. He will benefit from some osteo support, e.g., Blackmores for dogs, and shorter walks.
