Candy (Greenhound)

We have had some big improvements in walking Candy since we discovered large bodies of water seem to have a calming effect on her. After a few weeks of walks next to water we are slowly introducing walks in the park or street with some success. If Victor (her greyhound foster brother) is not around she reverts back to freezing frequently so I suspect she would prefer a doggie companion (as well as a quieter area- she is currently in Sydney city). She has even managed to teach Victor how to play happily (and loudly) with another dog!
I don’t think she would be a good fit in a house with kids (as she loves her food and her bed and can be a little anxious around those areas).
So basically, a waterfront villa with a bit of a yard, no kids, highly experienced and patient greyhound owner who wants a second dog… that would be a great fit for her (LOL)!

I know a girl who’s tough but sweet. Ain’t no finer girl in town. Candy on the beach, there’s nothing better, but I like Candy when she’s wrapped in a sweater. Someday soon, she will be yours, then you can have Candy all the time! WHOOOO WANTS CANDY!?

You gotta know the lyrics?! This gorgeous 4yo girl is such a delight. She is currently living it up in her foster home located in the Inner West of Sydney with another greyhound for company. Candy excels on the stairs, loves her food and is also a Greenhound! Candy would enjoy a home with a med/large canine for company and older(teenage)/no children due to her happy and excitable personality and high love of toys/food. A backyard (doesn’t have to be big) would really suit her. If you think Candy would suit your lifestyle please get in touch!
