He continues to be gentle and relaxed with the kids in our street (they’re between 6-8 and used to dogs). Yesterday he offered some lovely cuddles to cheer up a little one who had tripped and grazed their knee - such a sweetie.
We have noticed that when we are out walking, he is completely unfazed by traffic, trains, swoopy birds, barky off-lead dogs etc - very relaxed and calm in an urban environment.
Clive has been great - such a sweet gentle boy. He is super chilled, very affectionate and loves scritches :-)
He has been enjoying gentle pats from the kids in our street. We haven’t seen him with kids inside/ at home, but suggests that a family with older children might be fine.
We can confidently say he is toilet trained - zero accidents since he has been with us.
He is very affectionate with us, and actively seeks out petting (he’s so soft!). He has met other dogs (with both dogs on lead) and been very calm.
When at home he is calm and mostly happily snoozing.
He is excited about going for walks and walks really well on lead - no pulling or freezing. He’s been enjoying some light training with treats (eg learning to respond to his name, come when called).
Generally he likes being where we are, but doesn’t follow us around (ie will stay put if we’re not gone for long).
He suits our situation well (couple at home during the day, house with small yard, no kids)."
