Dancer

adopted

Foster Carer Update: Dancer has been living in an apartment for the past 7 weeks with her foster carer being home more often than not. She had only been left for a maximum of 2-3 hours over that time and seemed to settle in the laundry (as the apartment wasn’t quite dog proof). She is now located at our Western Sydney kennels and greenhound ready! She would prefer someone home more often than not, or a calm, med/large male canine companion.

This beautiful black girl certainly has the moves- like a graceful greyhound (well we all know they aren’t graceful all the time!) Dancer walks well on lead and has good manners with other dogs that she has met, although gets a little excited and playful. Like her name, she will have a little bit of a “dance” or playbow at them.

Dancer will love a canine dance partner so she can teach them the salsa, ballet and hip hop moves greyhound style, along with a stage (backyard), and lots of props (toys). Older children may be best with this excitable girl as she can get a little carried away with her moves at times and may knock over small children by accident.

She is available now, to adopt from our Western Sydney facilities.

Dancer is currently serving time in our Women’s Correctional Centre as part of our Prison Pets Program in Western Sydney. This offers highly rewarding and beneficial schedules for the Greyhounds to assist them in preparation for life on the outside.
