*FOSTER CARER UPDATE*
Delta is currently in foster care with a medium sized dog on the Central Coast.
Deltas settled in nicely.
We love walking her. She walks beside you .
Shes not scared of anything, not even storms. Go up and down and steps now.
We love her!
When the foster carer arrives home, Delta is waiting patiently with wagging tail and will (sometimes) sit with a hand signal. She is great with other dogs, loves people and the attention from people, goes stairs well and enjoys laying in the garden. She gets excited early in the morning when she’s ready to get up!
Don’t let the grey face fool you, she is only 5 years old! Delta greets everyone in her path with a wagging tail and nuzzled in head. She can be a little excitable when she says hello but she calms quickly and goes in for a pat, this is also reflected in her leash manners- excitable at first and then trots along well. Delta copes well on her own for a few hours in a back yard with toys and a comfy bed, but also gets along well with the other greyhounds here at GAP HQ. She would suit a home with older respectful children introduced in a calm manner, like all her greyhound pals. Delta is ready to buckle up and go for a ride to her new home, will it be with you?
She is available to meet by appointment only at our Central Coast facility or to meet with her foster carers!
As well as being behaviourally assessed, Delta (Greenhound) has:
- a C5 vaccination
- been desexed
- been microchipped
- been intestinally wormed
- been heartworm tested
- had flea and heartworm prevention
- been LIFETIME REGISTERED (no need to register with your council – this is all done as part of the Lifetime Registration)
