Dashing Donny is five years old and is full of charisma, character and charm!
Donny loves to receive a neck scratch, have a bath, go for a walk, eat treats and do all the fun things that dogs do. He’ll adjust into a home with ease once he explores the kitchen, raises his eyebrow at the TV and finds his shady spot in the back yard to relax in. Having owners with previous large dog experience will greatly assist this transition for him.
Donny shows good manners with other dogs and wouldn’t mind sharing his new home with one. If he were to be an only dog, then he’ll appreciate owners who can give him an enrichment routine while they are at work and take him for exercise once home. Donny loves his toys, so keeping his mind active with puzzle toys will certainly benefit him. Due to his larger than life personality, he his best suited to high school aged children.
He is available from our Western Sydney facility on a foster to adopt basis.
Donny is currently serving time in our Women’s Correctional Centre as part of our Prison Pets Program in Western Sydney. This offers highly rewarding and beneficial schedules for the Greyhounds to assist them in preparation for life on the outside.
As well as being behaviourally assessed, Donny has:
- a C5 vaccination
- been desexed
- been microchipped
- been intestinally wormed
- been heartworm tested
- had flea and heartworm prevention
- been LIFETIME REGISTERED (no need to register with your council – this is all done as part of the Lifetime Registration)
