*FOSTER CARER UPDATE*
Dottie is spending the holidays in her new foster home with two medium sized canine companions. She’s fitting in well and enjoying going on early morning walks with them everyday. Her favourite hobby is stealing all the stuffed animals from under the tree but bringing them back eventually because she’s definitely wants to make Santa’s Nice List. We’ll provide more updates on Dottie as her foster care time progresses.
Dottie “nose” she’s the sweetest, littlest and cutest Greyhound in the Western Sydney facility and won’t hesitate in sticking that nose into our pockets for a treat! As the baby of the kennels, because she’s only 1.5yrs old, she’s a lot of learning to do but is coming along in leaps and bounds (sometimes literally!) with her improvements based mostly around her leash manners. However, working beside some of our older Greyhounds she soon finds her stride and walks along with ease abolishing the nervous energy she can show at the beginning of a walk.
She’s a curious streak and wants to investigate everything, so a home where she can have slow introductions to new environments will suit her best.
Her lovely manners with all breeds of dogs means she’d be the perfect match for a fun canine friend to share the backyard with. Dottie’s new owners will have a friend for life too as she loves to smooch up to the humans as well!
Dottie is available as of Wednesday 8th December on a foster to adopt basis from our Western Sydney facility.
As well as being behaviourally assessed, Dottie has:
