Good with all dogs, floppy ears and gorgeous eyes, affectionate & a face that's always smiling and happy to see you, what more could you want?
If you look up "Jo" in the dictionary you find "sweetheart". This is incredibly true for Miss Jo. Jo loves her humans, loves scratches behind the ear and leaning on you for pats.
She is confident around her humans and would suit a home with kids with large breed dog experience. She is still learning how to be left alone and would suit a family where someone is home more often than not to keep her company eg casual, part time workers, or retirees.
She can be left alone for a half day and build up to more in a quiet area with a stable home routine. She would like to live in a quiet area away from loud neighbours or busy roads as too much noise can distract Jo and unsettle her while she is left alone.
Jo is comfortable in a backyard environment so she will need a yard with some grass, she doesn't mind if her yard is on the smaller side. She also likes to be indoors, check out the photo of her looking happy on her couch!
Jo would suit a home with another dog, whether that be small/medium/large. She is polite with all the types of dogs she has met here at GAP and would enjoy spending her days with a canine companion - however if your home does not already have a dog this is not a necessity and she would also enjoy being your only dog so she can soak up all the love.
