Lily

adopted

HI-5! Not very often you can say this to a greyhound, but you can with Lily!
This smart 6yo red brindle girl knows better than to hang with mischievous younger canines, she much prefers her own company or the company of her humans. Lily does show initial interest in smaller doggo friends but with slow introductions and a quick sniff she walks away easily without a fuss. If Lily is caught by surprise by another dog she will have a growl, she is one to be slowly introduced with brief sniffs- we are working with her at GAP HQ and seeing improvement each time. Lily LOVES her humans though! She is a very sweet girl and will play with her soft toys….only for 5 minutes of course, then find her bed for a relaxed nap. Lily has great leash manners, travels well and would be best suited as an only dog in her new home. She would enjoy a yard in a quite area, with part time or full time workers and respectful children.

Lily is available now on a foster to adopt basis at our Central Coast facility.
