Meet senior lady, Millie. At 8.5 years of age, Millie still has a lot of spring in her step and cheeky characteristics to make you think she’s much younger than her birth certificate lets on.
Millie is the first one to bounce in the car and be so excited to go for a road trip and an enrichment walk. Although strong on lead at first, she does settle once she’s out and about.
Having spent most of her life surrounded by other dogs, Millie will do well in a home where she can have the company of humans more often than not and/or a medium to large gentle canine companion.
Despite her age, Millie hasn’t had much experience in a domestic environment. We’d love her new parents to give her the opportunity to slowly introduce her to new places and surroundings. Once she finds her groove with a consistent routine, the sweet lady will continue to blossom.
She is available on a foster to adopt basis for $150.
Millie is currently serving time in our Women’s Correctional Centre as part of our Prison Pets Program in Western Sydney. This offers highly rewarding and beneficial schedules for the Greyhounds to assist them in preparation for life on the outside.
As well as being behaviourally assessed, Millie has:
- a C5 vaccination
- been desexed
- been microchipped
- been intestinally wormed
- been heartworm tested
- had flea and heartworm prevention
- been LIFETIME REGISTERED (no need to register with your council – this is all done as part of the Lifetime Registration)
