Introducing Sir Rupert the Greyhound! This handsome, sleek-coated young male may look the part of a confident prince but he is a sensitive soul with lots to learn about the big wide world. He can be a little unsure of new people and surrounds to begin with, but if you take it slow and steady, you will see his confidence blossom. Rupert walks well on lead but will need a little bit of training and encouragement when it comes to hopping in the car and meeting new people. His love of high value treats (such as chicken and cheese) should assist him continue on in the right direction along with gentle encouragement. Rupert seems to be quite friendly with other dogs he has met whilst in our care, big and small, with a gentle sniff and carries on about his day. He seems to cope well on his own and would definitely need a back yard with his own space (maybe even a doggie calm shell pool). To help with easing into the pet life, Rupert would do best in a quiet area, away from the hustle of big city life.

If you think this sensitive boy is the one for you, book an appointment today. He is on a foster to adopt basis at our Wyee facility.
