Vinnie is the man! This big, imposing but gentle boy will steal your heart in a second. He is placid and friendly, calm and gentle.

Vinnie has great manners with other dogs large and small but copes perfectly on his own. A backyard and a comfy bed will suit him well. We feel he would be fine with full time workers and doesn’t crave attention. He travels well in the car and walks well on lead.

Whilst Vinnie has been well socialised with kids prior to coming to us a home as a single dog, without kids would be preferred as Vinnie sure does love his high value treats like bones and pigs ears. Vinnie has shown some guarding around his higher value rewards (not his normal food), so a dog experienced home willing to give him his space and continue to work with him on these manners is preferred. We are continuing to work with Vinnie in the kennels by respecting his space when he is eating and when we walk past at meals times, throwing him some extra treats. We feel with appropriate management (not encroaching on his space when he is eating and helping to change his mindset around high value food), Vinnie will make a brilliant addition to his new home.

Vinnie is available on a foster to adopt basis from our Central Coast facilities.
