The Easter Show is on in 2022 and we will be there!

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2022

The show is on 8th-19th April 2022 at the Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park.

While you are at the show, make sure to come to our GAP NSW stand (in the Pet Pavilion, Hall 3) and pat some of our lazy but beautiful greyhounds or grab some of our merchandise for the kids.

We will have a bunch of greyhounds with us at the show every day, so come and get a feel for their loving nature and see why greyhounds are becoming so popular as pets all across Australia.

We will have experts and even some greyhound owners on the stand every day of the show to chat with. They can answer questions on temperament and share with you what it's like living with a greyhound. They can even matchmake the best greyhound personality to you  and your family's lifestyle.

We will be happy to chat to you in detail about the adoption process and how that works or feel free to bring the family, meet and greet some adorable greyhounds.

Be careful, though… you might fall in love and find your perfect pet!

Greyhound Adoption Days

The best chance to get to know your new best friend. Our dog adoption days let you meet all types of greyhounds with unique personalities. We promise that you’ll fall in love with at least one special friend following a session of patting, cuddling and scratching at a pet adoption day. Learn everything that you need to know about the adoption journey and get a feel for which pet might be the best fit for your family.

We place greyhounds in homes based on their personality so everyone gets a perfect match. Feel free to ask away and our friendly team will answer all of your questions. A dog adoption day with Greyhounds As Pets is the first step towards bringing a four-legged friend into your life.

Pre-Assessment Days

We hold pre-assessment days that will determine whether your greyhounds are suitable for life as a pet and entry into the GAP program . To be eligible, we’ll ask for proof of C5 vaccinations and at least a 4 week let down period after their last race/trial. A general details form will also need to be completed and returned to us before confirming any future appointments.
