I am described as faithful, loving, and loyal. My charming personality will win my new family over straight away. I am a bit older so settled and would love an indoor/outdoor lounge to spend my days laying in front of the tv or the in sun. I would still like to go for a walk every now and then and might do a zoom or tow in the yard.
Ebbi is a beautiful affectionate girl who loves cuddles and is looking for someone who is looking for company to share her days with. Some of her daily activities include playing with her toys, laying around the yard, having a bath and dipping her feet in a paddle pool that you are going to buy for her....
Ebbi would be ideal for a retired couple or someone who is home regularly and is a quiet and relaxed lady she is best suited as an only pet as she really doesn't think she needs to share you - or your toast with anyone else. No pocket pets of cats please and she would love a full sized yard all of her own
Don’t let his name fool you this guy likes to move! Tank is an active boy who likes to run so an active person is essential. Ideally he would be perfect for someone who likes to kick the day off with a power walk or small jog before they head off to work
Being a strong Lad, Tank will need someone who has previous big dog experience and someone who understands that he will need a tad of work which will pay off dividends in time.
Starc is an active boy who likes to stay fit, he requires a home that is relatively active that can nurture that and have the ability to walk him as he can be a bit strong on he lead. That will change with time invested in him and you'll have a cracker of a dog in no time. Starc is an inquisitive boy who’ll enjoy exploring a backyard and discover all the wonderful things on offer but also loves to cuddle up and enjoy hanging out with you. Due to his nature, he will require a full size yard and would prefer to be the only pet and says no thanks to pocket pets and cats.
+++ This photo is not him however he looks very similar. We are waiting for his photos.
If it’s character you’re after then this big gorgeous boy is your man! Arnold is an outgoing lad who enjoys being outdoors and enjoys the sunshine. He has been known to be in a world on his owns at times which is why he needs a home with someone who is active and also has a bit of experience. He would be da bomb for someone who gets out for walks am and pm or someone who does Winter sport and like to get fit . He may even out jog you at times!
Arnold would suit a single person or couple that has previous animal experience and is active and enjoys adventures. And lets be honest - he really is a blokey type bloke :)
As his name suggests this guy loves to fly around his yard but soon settles after a while and just enjoys life. Jet enjoys pats and being affectionate with his human companions and if your prepared to take him for a walk in the morning, then he is prepared to sleep in his hammock bed for the rest of the day while your out working. He will take it for the team.
Once you come home be prepared for some greyhound shenanigan's of excitement and be prepared to hear all about his day on your afternoon walk. He is then happy to get into his tucker and chill with you while you scroll through Netflix.
Don't let the grey look fool you, as they say age is only a number! Dale may be 7yrs old but he is just as spritely as in his prime. He loves to run around the yard and play. Enjoys following his companions around the yard and exploring what life has to give. Once he has had his exercise he loves to just laze around in the sun and enjoy life. If you are after an older companion that has lots of life still to live apply and organise a meet!
*Arabella is in a foster home*
Our beautiful little Arabella will look at you with those sooky eyes and win you over with one look!
*Parkie is in foster care*
Parkie Foster Update: "Thank you for lending Parkie to us. He has definitely livened up this household. Parkie is a very energetic dog with lots of energy to burn. Parkie loves nothing better than to cuddle up with the other greyhound for a nap. Parkie does really well with the other greyhound being with him when we have to go out. He definitely is a character. We believe Parkie needs a family with older children or very active couples/single families. He would definitely not suit a more relaxed older couple/single or family with little children as he is a bundle of energy. He is very friendly and loves other dogs but would need to find a match in energy."
Wolf is a stunning large fawn boy who is sweet, kind and has a zest for life. He's super smart and will learn quickly with some rule and boundaries that will be needed initially. A short investment of your time initially will give you a friend for life as he is super affectionate and just wants to be a part of your pack! In no time he will be your shadow and partner in crime.
Due to his energy level, he needs a full size yard he can use to zoom around and chase a ball so no units or townhouses please. Wolf is located in Goulburn and is ready to head off into the sunset now to the right home.
Well who needs a bit of spark to brighten up their day? Millie is young, bright, happy and has a zest for life. She loves to play and zoom around the yard and would benefit from an equally active home. She has been out walking the streets and is fine with other dogs around, however does try to play with them so a home that is able to put some rules and boundaries in place would be ideal for her.
She will make a super best friend to a home with kids over 12 and will spend endless hours joining in their games with them. The only limitations are theirs and her imagination. She would also be fine for a full time working couple as well with time together adjusted that you are not always going to be home. She really is suited to most homes with a full sized backyard so she can zoom around (no units or apartments please). Millie is located in Goulburn and will require an in person meet.
Pickle is in a home with a family with 2 kids.
"Pickle is settling in well, he enjoys walks and is warming up to pet life with every day! He and my boys (aged 11 & 8) get on very well together which is wonderful. He’s very gentle and affectionate with them, and even in a playful state never jumps up on anyone. We would definitely recommend him for a family with kids so long as they’re not scared by his size. "
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! That’s the sound your heart will make when you meet the love of your life, Boomer! Boomer has spent a couple of months in foster care and now that he has mastered many aspects of pet life, he is ready for his forever home.
At 6-years-old, Boomer is a relaxed and quiet boy who would make a great companion for those who want a low maintenance pet. Although Boomer doesn’t mind a short walk, he’s not big on grand adventures or playing with toys, instead he prefers to nap in the sun or snuggle up with his humans suiting homebodies. Boomer is very gentle with people and never pulls on the lead or jumps on you – he just politely nuzzles into you asking for a scratch behind the ears! Boomer doesn’t mind spending a few hours alone during the day provided you live in a nice, quiet neighbourhood and would suit those who work part-time or causal hours. Boomer loves being indoors and is very well behaved in the house and although he would prefer to have a yard to retreat to when he needs to, he doesn’t mind if it is on the smaller side. Boomer prefers people over other dogs and will need a home where he is the only pet of the family so he can take all the love and affection for himself.
Hello, my name is Ramsay. Or Rammy. I'm your future soul mate, and the 'specialest' boy you'll ever know.
I'm just 2 years old but don't worry, I don't act like a silly puppy (well most of the time). I'm very sweet!! I am well accustomed to being indoors and love to have my own fluffy bed where I'll spend most of the day. I love soft toys, pillows and peanut butter... and Kongs... filled with peanut butter!!!
Introducing sweet little Sootie.
This beautiful girl is now searching for her forever home…
This gorgeous girl is seeking her fairy tale ending in her very own gingerbread house.
Go shorty, it’s your birthday. We’re going to party like it’s your birthday, we’re going to sip *water* like it’s your birthday- ok so we are a little late as Shorty’s birthday was back in August but we are going to party anyway because this lovely lady is up for adoption!
Shorty knows how to party is sure to zoom around and dance all day. She can however be a little shy at the start, but after some treats and gentle encouragement you soon get to see her fun side.
Just like the fictional character Pedro Sanchez – Napoleon Dynamite; our Pedro asks you to…
Vote for Pedro! And he has told us here at GAP HQ “If you vote for me, all your wildest dreams will come true.”
More warm and fuzzy than a pile of freshly laundered towels and with sweet puppy dog eyes that could lift your spirits higher than a Hills Hoist, introducing our colourful little Peggy!
5.5-year-old Peggy adores her humans and if you fancied a pat or a cuddle, our little Peg won’t ever leave you hanging! Our sweet girl is always on the gentle cycle and her relaxed nature makes her suitable for living with children of all ages. Peggy is quite happy to spend the day draped over her bed while her humans are away making her suitable for part-time or full-time workers provided you live in a quieter neighborhood.
Sierra, the sweetest name and personality to match. This beautiful nearly 5 year old girl has a lot of enthusiasm about life, toys and treaties. Everything she is given will be enthusiastically tossed through the air and caught before hitting the ground, she certainly makes everything fun!
Sierras antics will keep you laughing, she absolutely loves her toys and will chase them and take them back to her bed before laying down and having a chew on them, she also loves some neck scratches!
Meet Macca aka Macadamia aka Mac Daddy
4 year old Macca is a bit of an old soul. He’s quite calm and collected in his daily goings and will make a wonderful companion to a quiet home. He walks lovely on a loose leash and enjoys hanging out for neck scratches and some chilled out company.
Are you ready to fall in love? Swipe right on our beautiful girl Swipey and we guarantee you’ll find the love of your life!
Swipey is a very fun greyhound who is constantly playing with her toys, tossing them about to herself and chasing after what you throw. She is currently learning “fetch” with great success! Swipey loves nothing more than having lots of toys to choose from to keep her entertained during the day. She also enjoys going for relaxing dips in her shell pool.
ABRACADABRA!! We’ll provide the stage and you’ll provide the audience… now all we need is the magic Wanda! As soon as you lay your eyes on this beautiful girl, sparks will be flying everywhere!
2-year-old Wanda can fit into a range of households including households who work part-time or casual hours, those who have another medium/large dog, families who have older kids and even units/apartments provided someone is home a little more often to take her out for a stretch and toilet. That’s right we’ve really pulled a rabbit out of the hat with this all-rounder! Wanda is a very sociable and friendly girl who loves to sneakily sidle up next to you for a pat while you are working at your computer or wathicng TV. She loves to play with her toys and go for walkies and although she is an excitable and happy girl at times, settles into loose lead walking after a few paces.
Dora Dora Dora the explorer, Boots and super cool Dora, Dora....
Boots is here and by his best friend’s side much similar to Dora the explorer having her best friend boots by her side. Boots is searching high and low to find a new place to call his own. This handsome young man with striking white booties is such a catch you won’t want to miss out on.
Ciao from beautiful Roma! This stunning 4-year-old blue girl will give you more joy and happy memories than a gondola ride down the Grand Canal of Venice!
Roma can be a little shy at times when meeting new people or visiting new places. We have noticed that Roma feels more comfortable and relaxed with another medium/large canine amico (or amica!) around allowing her radiant personality to shine through. If you would prefer Roma to be the only pet of the household, she is suitable for those who work part-time or casual hours and would do best in a quieter neighbourhood without too much going on beyond the fence.
Despite the cool name, this light and handsome boy is anything but dark, cloudy and cold. He is ‘chilled’ though.
Stormy is often seen snoozing away in the sunshine, not bothered by very much at all. In fact, we think he’s done very little in his time at GAP other than sun snoozing!
The littlest, sweetest, beautiful Bella you’ve seen!
4yo Bella is an absolute honey! Whilst she’s still pretty new here at GAP, it didn’t take very long to have our hearts stolen. She is so wiggly and silly that we can’t even get clear photos of her!
♦PLENTY OF HOUNDS PROFILE♦
Name: Rachel. Greyn.
Hold on to your treat pouches and brace yourself, little pocket rocket Jenna is zooming through for treaties and games! This girl is super charged when it comes to food but is able relax after some energy has been burned (believe it or not!). There’s no doubt that Jenna will need a yard and lots of fun enrichment games, she is showing to cope well on her own and wouldn’t mind full time workers as long as they are still able to meet her very fun needs.
Jenna would be happy to share her home with a med/lrg breed as she is showing to be quite the friendly girl to all she meets. Teenage+ or no children would be best as (as mentioned) she LOVES her food and she may not see little fingers if they were to feed her and she may accidentally knock them. Jenna is ready and waiting to find her new home, if she sounds like your type of girl please contact the Central Coast facility today!
She may have a common name but this is no common girl. Introducing….Sally.
This sweet natured hound will have you smitten from first pat. She adores her human company and so will require a home where she has company more often than not. This company can be her humans or another medium to large canine. Sally can be a little excitable at times so small children are not suitable to live with her but she can be a sister to older siblings. She has lovely manners indoors and on leash. Sally really just wants a home where her people will give her as much attention as she will give them.
Agent Cody Banks is here on a super-secret mission to find a home. He is beginning to get all the clues and evidence to make sure the home he finds is the one that he will be in forever! It has been alleged that he may go undercover to ensure he doesn’t hurt the feelings of his fellow friends that will remain behind. Witnesses have stated the home he is looking for has a yard that is known for zoomies with a lovely comfy bed. They say it has lots of toys and also delicious treats are handed out with the words of “good boy”.
The owners of the home are known to be full time workers, with potential teenage+ children. Med/larger dogs haven’t been seen however Cody is happy to slide this into his mission. This boy is eager to find this home and smooch up on some new people in his life. With the love of food and happy, fun-filled personality, he is sure that just about anyone will come forward to solve his case. If you feel you have seen or know anyone with this type of information, please get in touch with our Central Coast facility today!
Introducing REX, the handsome, gentle giant. Rex at just 3 years old acts like a mature, sophisticated gentle man and his young age could easily take you buy surprise. Although Rex hasn’t been at our facility too long he has settled in like a dream. Speaking of dreams… Rex dreams of a home where he can have a backyard to engage in midday snoozes, random zoomies and a paddle in his clam pool.
He wouldn’t mind if his new family are full-time workers as he enjoys his own company, although no dog has ever said no to their owner being home all day either. Due to Rex’s previous exposure to children he also wouldn’t mind a home with children as long as they are respectful of his space when he needs. Rex is a social boy, although a proper introduction to a canine friend of the medium to large size would be essential. Rex has just recently gone into a foster home in the Newcastle area, stay tuned for updates!
Calling all Cinderellas, Belles, Snow Whites and Jasmines - Your Prince is here! 3.5 year old Prince is a perfect gentleman! Seriously... And he's looking for his happily ever after, fairy-tale ending.
Prince has previously lived in a home where he was a much adored and spoilt pet, but now he is on the hunt for a new home with his glass slipper, by no fault of his own. He is quite accustomed to sleeping on beds, hanging out inside or in the yard and generally just being, well, a Prince.
Wham, Bam, thank you Pam!! This is what you will be saying each day when you take his black beauty into your life.
Pam, the stealer of hearts is looking for a home where her new family can be there for her more often than not.
