Grey hair and don't care! At 4yo this fella is a bit of an old soul. Jack is a very sweet gentleman and is all about the simple quiet life.

Jack has only been with us a short time and we don't hear a peep from him. He is fairly cruisy with coping well on his own and doesn't mind saying a gentle hello to all canines big and small. Jacks' ideal home would be quiet and with a yard to snooze and laze the day away in. He wouldn't mind older children as he is more looking for a chilled lifestyle. Jack may even enjoy another canine for company pending a meet and greet. He is a lovely and gentle boy on lead and absolutely loves his treats!

Howdy! My name is Hadley and I am searching for the perfect homestead to call my own. I am a super snuggly, sooky boy who loves nothing more than being around my human friends!

At only five years of age I still have a lot of life to live and so much love to give! My GAP mum tells me all the time what a good boy I am as she gives me lots of pats, ear scratches and the occasional kiss on the snoot. Sometimes she even lets me come inside the office with her! I love being inside with people where I can sleep on my bed and dream about all the treats I will receive for being a good boy. I am a country boy at heart and would love to live in a rural area away from the hustle and bustle of suburbia. I really like the other greyhounds that live at GAP! A home with no other pets other than another large breed dog would be great. As I am a bit of a mumma's boy I would prefer for my family to be home for most of the day. A home with older children would be okay as long as they have big dog experience and can respect my space when needed. I love to play with toys and do zoomies in the backyard. I am good on the lead but if I have a large property to run around on I won't need to go for walks in town. I really am just a big cuddle bug and cannot wait to find a loving family to call my own.

*I am in foster care*

Time for another crossword! Okay, 5 down- 7 letters, "Your new best friend" S.T.A.N.L.E.Y? Correct! 2 down- 7 letters, "The best boy at GAP" S.T.A.N.L.E.Y? It fits! Okay last one, 8 across, 7 letters, "The greyhound with the best eyebrows" S.T.A.N.L.E.Y. This is too easy!

Come and meet our sweet and playful boy Gecko, he is looking for somewhere he can call his forever home and for someone that he can call his own.

Gecko is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves nothing more than to play with his toys and follow his favourite human around. His best suited home would be with someone who is home most of the time, so if you work/study from home or work part time/casual hours then he’s the hound for you. Gecko can be an active boy and will prefer to have a nice backyard so he can get his zoomies out and chase his toys around, but don’t worry after he has finished playing he will find the comfiest/sunniest spot to sleep the rest of the day away. Gecko knows how to play well with other hounds here at GAP, however he will prefer to have his toys and backyard all to himself, but he would love to go on social walks and adventures with other dogs his size. He has ears that will light up your life and a personality that will light up your heart.

Meet the stunning Daisy, ready to bloom and brighten up your home!

Daisy is such a sweet girl and is winning us all over with ease. She has been great on her own but also wouldn't mind sharing her home with a med/lrg canine companion. Daisy walks wonderfully on lead, she would enjoy a home with a yard and possibly respectful children. She doesn't mind saying hello to all canine friends on walks and has spent a short time in a home where she adjusted wonderfully into pet life.

Handsome red brindle boy Lentil is as versatile as the legume itself.

Lentil loves to play with toys, go on walks, is a confident and happy go lucky guy, and would suit a variety of homes. He would enjoy a fun packed, adventure filled life with his new family after he settles into pet life, or would be happy hanging out at home with you while you work from home, lapping up all the attention during the day.

Age: 3 years 4 months | Sex: Female

Meet the adorable and extremely loveable, Minnie.

Minnie can be playful, silly and excitable but is also the sweetest angel there is. She would best suit a home with an active family that have lots of time to invest in teaching and loving her.

And in the morning, we're patting WAFFLES!

Waffles is a stunning brindle girl with a heart of gold and energy of the energizer bunny. She would love nothing more than a grassy yard to play in with toys galore! If she has toys, a nice bed and sun to lay in, she's happy if her family are full-time workers. If you have a medium-large playful companion at home, she wouldn't mind having a meet and greet to see if they can strike up a friendship! Because she is so playful, she needs a canine pal that can keep up with her, so older or less tolerant dogs wouldn't be a good pairing.

Spencer is a distinguished gentleman looking for a family to call his own.

Ear scratches and treats are the way to his heart and he is very highly motivated by his favourite snacks. Spencer is a very well mannered boy indoors and will often find a bed and plonk himself down for the day. For that reason he would be suited to living in an apartment, but he cannot do stairs due to an old injury. A ground floor apartment or one with a lift to access the unit would be perfect.

Age: 4 years 11 months | Sex: Male

Adorable 4.5-year-old Donald is looking for his forever home! This goofy little guy will bring a smile to your face every day.

Donald is a very friendly and affectionate boy who loves to bounce up to every person he comes across and snuggle into then for pats. He loves his toys and is often spotted squeaking and throwing around his toys for himself! Donald would love a home with a backyard to play in and wouldn’t mind spending some time alone in it while his humans are away, making him well suited to full-time workers. He also loves spending quality time with his humans in the house and has shown us he is calm and well behaved indoors. Donald is more than happy to share his new home with older kids/teens and medium/large dogs. He is food driven and is easy to teach new things as long as there are some tasty treaties involved, and he absolutely loves food-based enrichment games. Donald enjoys a nice stroll around the neighbourhood and although he can get excited to get going on his walkies, he settles into a good rhythm after a few minutes and walks well in his harness.

And in this corner, weighing 35kg and as handsome as can be- HEEEERREEESSS BIG RONNNNNNNNN!!

So, Big Ron isn't quite the scary wrestler. In fact, he is one of the most sensitive and kind souls we currently have in care. He's tall, dark & handsome and is so smoochey! Big Ron came out of his shell quite fast with us and we feel a home away from the busy suburbs will benefit him. He loves treats which will help with guidance and positive reinforcement in the home. We have found big Ron prefers to be outside as inside is still a little scary. He wouldn't mind living with full time workers as long as he has adequate cover and bedding is in yard. Quiet older children would be best while he finds his confidence within his new home. Once he gets to know you he is a very lovely smooch that will never leave your side. Big Ron doesn't mind other canine friends, he may even like to live with a med/lrg dog for company. With size comes his long legs that gently glide alongside you on walks, you would hardly know he is on the end of the lead!

Just one look at sweet Norbit’s puppy dog eyes and floppy ears and you will fall in love!

3-year-old Norbit is a vibrant and playful boy best known for his adorable little happy hops that he does when he sees you in the morning! He loves his toys and will entertain himself tossing around his toys or gathering items on his bed for later. He loves to be stimulated with enrichment activities and will happily participate in training sessions if there are some tasty treats involved! Norbit is happy hanging out in the sunshine and playing with his toys for a few hours alone during the day, making him suitable for part-time/casual workers. He is happy to share his home with older kids and wouldn’t mind a medium/large canine brother or sister pending a meet and greet first. Norbit would love a backyard to call his own and would do best in a quieter neighbourhood without too much hustle and bustle going on beyond the fence. Norbit walks beautifully on loose leash by your side and loves to go for a good walk and sniff all the interesting smells.

Meet our sweet little lion looking for his new pride - Kovu!

Age: 4 years 11 months | Sex: Male

What does the fox say? Adopt me! True to his name, this boy is curious and playful but also has a shyer side.

Handsome Fox is on the lookout for a quieter home without children and another doggy friend where he can really come out of his shell. Once he does his playful side emerges and you’ll find him doing zoomies with his favourite toy hanging out of his mouth, so a backyard is a must for this boy. Fox has been paired with some female greyhounds during his time with us and we feel that having a furry friend helps boost his confidence.

Age: 3 years 4 months | Sex: Female

Pretty Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers and paired them with her new pawrents!

Piper is a playful girl and adores all humans and treaties! She is showing to cope well on her own and will likely suit full time workers or possibly even enjoy a med/lrg canine friend. Piper may benefit from a harness when walking as she can be a little strong initially but by no means difficult to handle. She is still getting to know smaller breeds of doggos and will need a home that understands to take things slow and continue her socialisation. Piper will likely suit a home with robust children of all ages given they respect her space.

Age: 8 years 8 months | Sex: Male

Potluck, or "Lucky" as he has been nicknamed here at the adoption centre, is a gentle older soul looking for his forever home.

Lucky doesn't ask for much, he just wants to hang out indoors with you! He wants a soft bed (and couch!), and requests his humans be home all/most of the time, eg if you work from home or are a homebody.

Age: 4 years 2 months | Sex: Male

Say hello to the ever so handsome, BOYD!

This guy is the sweetest and easy going fellow. He can be a little sensitive in new environments at first however he blossoms so quick and is just happy to be around you. Boys would benefit in a quiet home with teenage+/no children to really let his confidence come through. A yard for winter sun naps would be amazing and he may even enjoy canine mate for company. Boyd can be a little strong on lead when first headed out for his walks but soon settles and is happy to stroll alongside you.
