The cost of living has been a hot topic and is becoming progressively more challenging for the average Australian family. We are counting pennies more than ever, and so it’s no surprise that something that used to be quintessentially Aussie like pet ownership, is now considered a luxury.

- They have short coats which hardly shed and no undercoat so they don't need to be groomed often, a brush once a week and a bath every 3 months are sufficient
- Racing greyhounds are bred for functionality rather than appearance alone so they avoid the myriad of health issues that can come from breeds with extreme body features. This all helps keep those vet bills to a minimum.
