Have you ever wanted your very own magical and adventurous creature? Well look no further than our very own Thunderbird. Ok so we get he is a bit different than Harry Potter’s flying thunderbird but alas this boy is an intelligent and soulful character. Thunderbird will be celebrating his 3rd birthday next month and would love nothing more than to fill your home with wonder and charm.
Thunderbird is a pretty chill guy and can often be found snoozing on his bed whether that is inside the house or out in backyard. He has shown to walk well on leash but at times he can get a bit excited and want to eagerly spread his wings (or should I say legs) and get to his destination faster. Thunderbird has shown polite manners with other greyhounds here at our kennels and wouldn’t mind if his home had a med/large canine companion.
Glossy is very fitting for this stunning, shiny little girl whose coat glimmers in the sun.
At just 3 years old she is as pretty as a flower and just as delicate as one too.
When you hear that jingle on the radio for tiles, what do you sing? “Amber has the answer!” of course! Well.. This Amber may be your answer!
Amber is a young, lovely fawn girl, looking for her home. She is needing someone home more so than not, so a casual worker or someone that doesn’t work would be best for this lovely girl. A home with no children, no other animals and a backyard would make her the happiest, that way she can lap up all your attention and run the house.. Maybe even lay some tiles.
Ebbi is a beautiful affectionate girl who loves cuddles. She loves playing with her toys, laying around the yard, loves having a bath and dipping her feet in a paddle pool. Ebbi would be ideal for a retired couple or someone who is home regularly.
She is quiet and relaxed but will bark when someone approaches her yard making her a great addition to your home.
Looking for a relaxed, soft, gentle and quirky greyhound who will never pull on lead, jump on you or need lots of walks, and who will be more than happy to quietly and politely chill inside with you all day? Then our Arthur is your man.
Arthur is a special young man who is almost 2 years old. Arthur been in our foster care program with another greyhound and flourished in the home environment. So if you already have a greyhound who needs a friend, or whether you want a greyhound with the option to get another in the future, Arthur will be a great addition to your family. On top of this, Arthur does not need a very large backyard to be happy (however a backyard is a plus), and is good with respectful older children.
Oh boy is this a hot dog! With his gorgeous blue coat and light brown eyes this dude is a total Smokeshow. Introducing the dog of your dreams, Smokey!
Smokey is looking for a home either with part-time/casual working pawrents, or a medium/large canine pal to pass the time with while full-time workers are out of the house. Smokey is a relaxed and gentle soul, however he is happy to share his home with older kids who may enjoy his occasional playful bursts. We hope you have room on your couch as our Smokey loves the indoors and has been known to make himself at home on the sofa! And did we mention he loves his treaties? Smokey will happily be your live-in vacuum cleaner and tidy up any of those pesky crumbs for you. Being a food-lover, Smokey is easily to train and eager to impress you to get that yummy snack.
Argh me hearty!! Pirate Patch here!
Patch is a beautiful 3 year old boy in search of his forever home. Patch absolutely loves his toys and enjoys a nice long walk (he can never get enough of his walks), he can be strong at time so experienced owners would be ideal, or walking him on a harness. He is a big friendly giant and even knows “on your bed”.
No, this is not a trick. Not an illusion nor sleight of hand. No, your eyes do not deceive you. That’s right, tiny Trixie really is this adorable.
Little Trixie would prefer her humans not to magically disappear for long hours during the day, and is suited for part time or causal workers at most. However if you happen to already have another medium/large canine at home, Trixie doesn’t mind being left alone longer. When you make your grand re-appearance, she will always make you feel welcome with her puppy love! Trixie is more of a gentle companion than a playful pal, however she is happy to share her new home with older, respectful kids.
At only 1.5 years old, this handsome little reptile is hoping his forever home is just around the corner. However there will be no need for a terrarium or tank for this Turtle, as he will make himself at home right on your couch!
Turtle can be a bit shy and overwhelmed when exposed to new people and places and will need someone willing to take things slowly with him. However just like his namesake, once he comes out of his shell you will find a soft and affectionate little Turtle! If there is one thing we know for sure about our Turtle, it’s that he loves his food! He enjoys everything from training to enrichment – as long as there is food involved he is a happy participant. Turtle is after a quieter home without too much going on beyond the fence and without young kids disturbing the serenity, although another canine around his size wouldn’t be out of the question. Provided you live in a quiet neighbourhood, Turtle is suitable for full time workers. He enjoys spending time indoors with his humans, however a backyard is also required as a place for him to retreat to when he needs a break.
3 year old Nutsy has certainly earned his name and is known around GAP for his nuts-about-life attitude.
He is a very happy boy and just likes to make it known – he hasn’t quite learned that it is not appropriate to jump up on you with excitement, but he’s figuring it out.
Contrary to what you may think, Silly is actually quite a sensible little girl who hasn’t caused a single fuss since she arrived here at GAP. She has been known to have the occasional bout of excitement when she first see’s her fav hoomans, but she is very quick to settle right back down and do only polite girl things.
At just 2 years old, this little lady still has a lot to see and do in this world and with that, a lot to learn. She can be a little shy as she hasn’t had much adventure so she will need a patient and quiet family that will build her confidence and life experiences. For this reason, we think a home without small children would be best, so we don’t overwhelm her.
And the biggest leaner award goes to…. CHLOE!
If you haven’t heard of the greyhound lean, this girl will show it of perfectly. As soon as she gets out for a walk the lean comes into play and she sticks by you like glue. At only 2yo, Chloe still has a lot to learn and the big world can be a scary for a little girl.
Are you ready for the oh so precious and graceful Sammy?!
At 5.5yo, this girl has seen it all and has already had a great start to pet life. Sammy made friends with a Great Dane and Jack Russell before coming into us and she has shown she very much loves the company of another canine. Sammy can be a little shy at first and sometimes takes a little while to warm up to you. Once she gets to know you though there is no looking back! She will be your little shadow and rubs up against your hand as she trots alongside you.
Just when you feel like things are about to fall apart this guy will come to the rescue and hold them together…….Stitch!!
This small boy is currently in foster care and is looking for a forever home. He can take time to warm up when he first meets you but he still loves his humans enough to want them around more often than not so if you work casual or part-time hours you’re the right fit for Stitch. He enjoys having a yard to explore in but will need a home that will allow him inside time amongst his family also. Stitch likes the quieter side of life so will thrive best in a quiet household in a quieter area away from too much city noise. Stitch can be rehomed with another med/large canine companion that has good manners & is calm and also has experience with older kids.
“I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose!” – If having no hair is a purpose, then yes I am burdened with that *awkward smile*
While his infamous counterpart from Asgard may be referred to as the “trickster” or “The God of mischief”, our Loki is known only for his friendly nature and excitement for all things good in the world.
Hello, I'm Red. Can you guess why they call me that? :)
I’m 5 years old but that’s like 35 in dog years so one might say I’m pretty mature. Do mature dogs still play like toddlers?
Do you remember Johnson and Friends?!
Johnson the furry pink elephant was the wisest and oldest of the group, despite a shortcoming of not being able to count past one… Well like him, our Johnson… also can’t count past one.
*IN FOSTER CARE*
Get out your tiaras and crowns, King is looking for a family.
* IN FOSTER CARE*
Looking for an easy going, prefers their own company kinda guy? Meet Louis-not-so-Vuitton. This thick boy isn't trying to squeeze into no runway dress and he's very comfortable with his curvy figure.
Mini in size, mighty in strength, personality and enthusiasm!
This little girl is super energetic and full of life and her size does not feel mini by any means.
