Barney is available to a home who can nurture a shy greyhound out of their shell. Barney requires a special home with a quiet lifestyle and a backyard with secure fencing where he can retreat to and enjoy the peace and quiet away from people when he needs it.
A home without children is a must for our shy Barney, however a calm, wise and understanding dog of any size (small or large) would be a lovely companion to help him build his pet skills and help him adapt to his new life with his forever family.
If you are someone who can provide a shy dog the structure, support, and ongoing confidence training that he needs to thrive as a pet, we'd love to hear from you.
Barney is available for fostering or adoption by discussion with GAP team. We can't wait to hear from Barney's perfect family!
