This gorgeous 3-year-old black greyhound is a very quiet and gentle soul who is just beginning to discover that the world isn’t such a scary place.

He has been receiving love and care at a foster careres residence for some time, and while he was initially extremely timid, he has recently started to come out of his shell. His progress has been lovely to see. He is now coming when his name is called, happily accepting pats and showing some beautiful, positive consent and trust. He can still be a little head-shy, so he will benefit from patient people who are happy to let him build confidence at his own pace.

He travelled beautifully when in the van. He also walks nicely on lead and shows great promise with dedicated patience and further training. 

He has shown lovely social skills with other dogs. He has happily shared the yard with other greyhounds, a German Shepherd cross, and smaller dogs, with friendly and relaxed interactions all around.

This sweet boy would thrive in a quiet, patient home where he can continue to gain confidence and learn that being loved and cared for is a wonderful thing. He may take a little time to truly blossom, but the progress he is already making is incredibly encouraging.
