Updates from foster: "Dusty has settled in with us very well. He is an absolute gentleman and is no trouble at all. He has coped well by himself for a 6-hour day once or twice. I am fortunately able to take him to work with me where he sleeps behind me at my desk. He loves water – will always run for a splash and loves beach or estuary. He sleeps in our bedroom but is in no hurry to get up in a morning. Regarding his own home – constant access to outside would be great. He is a large dog. Any potential family would need to realise he takes up a lot of space. He is long – needs a big bed to stretch out on. However, he is very easy and polite and no trouble. He is very gentle, he loves a pat, he is great with strangers."
Hi, I'm Dusty, a distinguished, gentle boy looking for a couch to call my own. I am polite with other dogs and would suit a home with a calm medium-large companion - although not essential. A house with a backyard would be perfect, as I love to sniff around and enjoy the indoor outdoor lifestyle. A home who will continue training and enrichment games would be great as I am smart and have shown I'm eager to learn. A home without children is best as I can be shy around lots of stimulus. I need a home that is calm and consistent so I can build my confidence and settle in well.
