*I'm in foster in the Inner West in an apartment and I am available to adopt!*
Foster update:
"She is doing sooo well, her toileting is so good! She'll hold it until we get downstairs and outside. She has slept on her bed all night with no issues, she's a huge cuddle bug and LOVES to be touching us at all times. She loves taking the lift, which she looks at herself in the mirror. She's been such a joy!
Little Emma has been settling in to her foster home wonderfully. Her progress since day 1 vs now has been consistent and steady and we’ve been ticking off little milestones as she goes which is beautiful to see. She’s much more relaxed and confident in the home (roaching and sleep-groaning up a storm). We’ve noticed a big change in her comfort level, and she’s really starting to show her personality, particularly in these last 2-3 weeks. She’s lovin home life! She has recently started sleeping in until we wake up which has been a lovely sign that she’s feeling more secure in her routine. She also sleeps in her own bed in the bedroom, which is truly so polite of her. Given that we live in a 1 bedroom apartment this feels like great progress and she seems really good at settling herself.
Emma is perfectly clean indoors and has been doing well with her toilet routine. She happily toilets outside during her regular walks and outings and sleeps throughout the night without any issues. She’s patient and lets you get her ready for walkies with no hassle. She’s very happy with moderate exercise and then spends the rest of the day relaxing. Emma is incredibly sweet, gentle and affectionate and has no problem making every person she meets fall in love with her.
We’ve noticed her slowly starting to play with toys a little more (albeit short lived) and gets so shy when you catch her doing it, super cute. Emma thrives on predictable routine and gets a handle on it pretty quickly. While settling in she lets you set the pace while figuring out how to cuddle up to you as close as possible almost instantly. Continuing a consistent routine will likely help her settle quickly into her forever home. She’s responded really well to predictability, patience and tons of affection! She also is a really social dog so if matched with the right forever home, we really believe having a furry companion she gets along with would be beneficial for her. She is also great on car trips, she relaxes and settles almost instantly and half the time you forget she’s even there, a stress-free road trip buddy!"
