*Hi, I've just gone into foster care - update below* "Gazza is going really well! He is such a lovely dog: very calm, chilled and easy to have around. He has settled into our home really well and has proven to be a wonderful companion. Gazza has been left alone for up to four hours and generally copes very well. He doesn't display any destructive behaviour. He just shows us how much he misses us by collecting our ugg boots and sleeping on them, which is rather adorable!
Gazza has been wonderful with my 10-year-old. He is very happy to interact and occasionally responds to play, although his preferred activity is definitely sleeping! On walks, he is generally very calm and simply walks past them or cries a little and moves on. He is good with visitors. He is curious but respectful and doesn't seem overly concerned by people coming into the house. He is fine with stairs and is generally very easy to manage. He likes treats but isn't particularly food motivated. He is quite independent and has actually claimed his own bedroom, where he retires when there is too much happening around the house. He is very good company and has a lovely, calm presence and he sleeps through the night! I also think he would suit an active owner who can get him out of the house for a good walk of around 50 minutes during the day, ideally sometime between 8 am and 2 pm (Gazza is not an early bird).
Overall, Gazza has very few shortcomings. He is a lovely, easy-going dog who has settled in beautifully and learns every day. We are really enjoying having him with us and discovering his personality day by day."
------------------------
Gazza is a sweet boy who travels well in vans, cars and trailer, also walks well on lead on adventures out and about. Gazza has shown polite manners with children ranging from 20 months to 9 years old, showing a gentle & polite indifference. Gazza has spent time mingling with big and small dogs and would suit a home looking for a laid back boy happy to go with the flow. Gazza dreams of a little backyard to spend his days in and kids to keep him entertained during the day.
He can be adopted at Western Sydney.
