Georgia is currently in foster care and has been for a couple of months, a message from her carer:
Affectionately known as Scratty Snootles, Georgia is a gentle, sweet-natured greyhound who has spent the past eight weeks discovering all the best parts of pet life – comfy sofas, cosy snuggles, interesting sniffy walks, tasty sardines, and long naps in sunny spots.
When Georgia first arrived in foster care, she was a very timid girl who found the big world a little overwhelming. With patience, kindness, and plenty of reassurance, she has slowly begun to blossom, revealing glimpses of her wonderfully quirky and endearing personality. Every day brings a little more confidence, and it has been a joy to watch her come out of her shell.
Georgia will thrive with a family who understands that building trust takes time. She is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue her journey at her own pace, supported by people who will celebrate the small wins along the way. Once she feels safe, her affectionate and playful side shines through.
She has done well with her canine foster siblings following careful introductions and enjoys a quick burst of zoomies around the garden before settling in for a well-earned snooze. Curious and intelligent, Georgia loves exploring new places and walks beautifully on lead. She is also a big fan of car rides and is always happy to hop in for an adventure.
Georgia would be best suited to a quiet, relaxed household where her people are home for much of the day. She is not suitable for a home with cats or chickens and would be happiest with respectful older children.
Sweet, sensitive, and full of potential, Georgia is a truly special girl who is ready to find a family willing to give her the time and love she needs. In return, they'll gain the most loyal of companions and the privilege of watching this beautiful girl continue to flourish. 🩷🐾
