Lemme – A Character-Filled Gentleman Ready for Retirement
Lemme is a handsome, easy-going boy looking for a loving home to enjoy his well-earned retirement. Full of personality, he isn’t afraid to let you know his opinions and can be quite vocal when he has something to say, adding plenty of character and charm to everyday life.
He has been assessed around children and has shown himself to be good with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. Lemme walks beautifully on leash and enjoys getting out and about with his people. He has also been tested with a small dog (a whippet) and showed appropriate, friendly behaviour.
Having been raised around livestock, including cattle, Lemme has experience around farm environments and has been observed around cows alongside a cattle dog. His trainer was confident enough in his temperament and wellbeing to allow him to decide when it was time to retire from racing, a testament to his sensible nature.
Lemme is now ready to swap kennel life for a comfortable couch, daily walks, and a family of his own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with plenty of personality and a heart of gold, Lemme could be the perfect addition to your home.
