🐾 Meet… Lenny 🐾

Meet Lenny, a handsome red boy with a wonderfully gentle heart and a sweet, soulful nature. Lenny is a placid, easy-going gentleman who loves people and absolutely treasures a good pat. He is the kind of hound who feels happiest when he knows his favourite person is nearby, and once he settles into his surroundings, his lovely personality shines through.

Lenny is a thoughtful boy who likes to take a moment to get his bearings in new situations. With a little reassurance and some gentle encouragement, he settles beautifully and soon becomes a happy explorer. Once comfortable, he enjoys having a sniff around and taking in his surroundings, while often choosing to stay close to his humans — because adventures are always better with your favourite person nearby! 

At home, Lenny is wonderfully placid and has a lovely clean and tidy nature. He has even shown that he has a little watchdog side, keeping an eye on things around the home and letting his people know when something interesting is happening. 

Lenny enjoys getting out for walks and is generally lovely on lead. He can become a little enthusiastic when something particularly interesting catches his attention, but he is responsive to his handler and naturally looks to his person for confidence and guidance. This makes him a lovely boy for someone who enjoys exploring the neighbourhood together at a relaxed pace.

Lenny is also a social gentleman when it comes to other dogs. He is interested and excited to say hello initially, then settles quickly and becomes very polite. He is happy sharing space with canine friends and has been comfortable around larger mixed-breed dogs too. After his initial hello, he is quite content to carry on with his own adventures.

Travelling is another part of Lenny’s routine that he takes in his stride. He happily jumps into the car and is ready to head off with his people. He is a sensitive soul who appreciates feeling secure and comfortable, so a calm, reassuring approach will help him enjoy his journeys even more.

Lenny has a gorgeous red coat and that classic soulful hound expression that makes you want to give him a big cuddle. He is a gentle boy with a lot of love to give, and there is something especially endearing about the way he looks to his people for reassurance and companionship.

Lenny would be happiest in a peaceful, predictable home where he can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle and build a special bond with his people. He would suit adults or a mature family who can give him the gentle encouragement and reassurance he loves.

A calm home where Lenny can have his own comfortable spaces, enjoy leisurely walks and spend plenty of time close to his humans would be ideal. He could also enjoy living with a compatible canine companion, particularly another polite, easy-going dog who appreciates a peaceful household.
