Notes from Foster: Leo is a very quiet and easy-going dog at home. It took Leo some time to become fully comfortable in a new environment. Most of the time he was very independent and content to have his own space. He also seems to really like soft toys. We left him home alone for around 3–4 hours on several occasions and monitored him with a camera. He was very calm and spent most of the time sleeping. One thing we noticed is that Leo is quite a clean dog and seems to prefer keeping his toilet and resting areas separate. Overall, Leo is a gentle, quiet and low-maintenance dog in the home. He may need some time and patience to feel secure in a new environment, but once he becomes familiar with his surroundings, he settles into a very calm household routine.
Leo is a wonderfully affectionate and people-oriented boy who loves being around his humans. He is a loving companion who enjoys being part of the family and will happily soak up all the attention and affection on offer.
Once familiar with his surroundings, Leo has shown that he can settle beautifully inside for longer periods, making him well suited to enjoying a relaxed home life with his family.
Leo is social with medium to large dogs and could happily live with another suitable M-L sized canine companion. That said, Leo would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home, where he can have his people all to himself.
Leo would suit a family with children aged 10 years and over.
With his affectionate nature, love of people and ability to settle into home life, Leo would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal and loving companion. ❤️
