Notes from foster: "Yes, Louie is living up to his "chill" and incredibly gentle nature. Always up for an adventure, never turns down a walk. He is an absolute pleasure on-lead, and so wonderful to see him sniff and explore his surroundings with such confidence. He does love to sniff everything! Louie just wants a safe space to truly relax and let his guard down.
I believe Louie would be good with an active mature-aged person, or at least someone who is not working away from home 5 days per week. He does form quite the attachment with his human. He copes well being outside alone for up to six hours, showing zero destructive behaviours. While he handles this well, I feel six hours is more than enough... how could any human go that long without him resting by their side?"
Louie is a gentle, low maintenance, laid back and quiet soul. If you're looking for a laid back senior greyhound, Louie might be perfect for you. Louie enjoys life in the slow lane and is looking for someone to spend quiet time with.
Louie is a lovely greyhound who loves mingling with other dogs his size, settles well alone and would love a home with indoor outdoor access where he can independently alternate between exploring outside and resting on beds indoors. A solo pet home is best suited.
He is suitable with older/respectful kids and dreams of a backyard/courtyard to snooze in. He would like a flat home without stairs, as he is still learning how to navigate staircases. Louie is a sweet gentleman and he hopes you come to meet him soon.
