Lucy is a gorgeous black girl with a big personality, a playful spirit and plenty of love to give. She is confident, enthusiastic and wonderfully affectionate, with a particular appreciation for pats and being part of the action. And yes, she absolutely lives up to her name — I love Lucy! 🖤

Lucy is a people-loving girl who is always pleased to make a new friend. She enjoys attention and will happily lean into a good pat, but she also has plenty of her own personality and enthusiasm to keep life interesting. Once she discovers somewhere new, her curious side comes out in full force, with lots of happy sniffing, exploring and the occasional zoomie or two!

She has a lovely playful streak and enjoys soft squeaky toys, making her an entertaining companion for a home that enjoys a little fun. Lucy brings a cheerful energy to her adventures and is happiest when she has opportunities to explore, stretch her legs and enjoy the world around her.

On walks, Lucy starts out with plenty of excitement and enthusiasm before settling into a more comfortable rhythm. She also travels beautifully, happily jumping into the car and relaxing once she's settled in.

Lucy has an interesting social style with other dogs. She can be very enthusiastic when saying hello, especially at first, but once the initial excitement passes, she is quite happy to give smaller dogs their space. She has also been comfortable meeting larger dogs and is happy sharing her world with canine friends. She could enjoy having another dog around or be perfectly content as the only dog soaking up all the attention.

Lucy has experience around children and has been a lovely, composed companion around them. She would suit a family who appreciates her happy-go-lucky personality and enjoys giving their dog plenty of opportunities for play, walks and outdoor adventures.
