Lyla has experience living in an apartment foster care, and requires a forever home in a low dog density area, away from busy cafes/walkways with lots of exposure to dogs. Lyla will be very happy in a responsible adopters’ hands who understands Lyla’s boundaries around other dogs. Lyla is a highly friendly, confident dog. She is very playful and loves her toys but can relax and snuggle on the couch too.
Her foster update:
"Lyla settled in so quickly and is going quite well. Lyla loves loves loves people and always wants to say hi to everyone when we walk her. She shows no reaction to small dogs and when some have barked at her. She enjoys sleeping on our couch in our main area (which is on the floor and like a big bed for her). We don’t mind and she comes to sit with us all the time. Even if she sleeps on her bed she has no trouble with us approaching and giving her some pets. She sleeps through the whole night with no troubles. No accidents at all inside so she understands doing her business outside. We take her out at fairly consistent times and she doesn’t seem to need to go out outside of these times. I think her online profile is on par with her behaviour - she is so so sweet and loving and a lot more playful than I was expecting from a greyhound. She can walk for as long as needed, and sleep for as long as needed. She is an all-rounder!! And would definitely suit a young couple/family who enjoys a chill, quiet environment but also can do those bouts of fun."

Lyla is a delightful girl with a fun personality that is perfectly balanced by her sweet and gentle nature. Lyla's charm and warmth are sure to bring joy to any household. She is super affectionate, confident, loves people and loves to do a zoomie! Older children (teens) would enjoy her fun side, and laid back couples/families would enjoy her adaptable nature if living in a unit/apartment with an active lifestyle. This gorgeous girl would suit some hours alone as a solo dog. She makes her a wonderful companion for families or individuals looking for an active yet loving friend. Lyla is available at the Western Sydney adoption centre.
