Maverick is a lovely boy who walks beautifully on lead, staying calmly by your side without pulling. He enjoys taking in the world around him, stopping to sniff and explore while keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings. He's an alert and curious boy who enjoys seeing what is happening around him.
Maverick is also a real gentleman when it comes to meeting people. He was relaxed and friendly when approached and was very comfortable being handled. He enjoyed having a little sniff and even offered a few licks to say hello. ❤️
He was wonderful around other greyhounds and happily socialised with them. He also showed a very calm response when meeting several small dogs, choosing simply to walk away without fuss. His response to cats hasn't been assessed yet, so his suitability for a home with cats is currently unknown.
Maverick also showed excellent manners with toys, happily allowing one to be taken from him without any fuss.
He travelled well and was comfortable in his crate, making him a great candidate for outings and adventures with his new family.
Overall, Maverick is a calm, friendly and well-mannered boy who takes new experiences in his stride. Whether he's out exploring, enjoying a leisurely walk or simply spending time with his people, Maverick has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
