Foster Update:
"Popeye has been an absolute delight. Popeye is funny, loving & just such a sweet boy at heart. He has adapted well to being left outside while we are at work. We leave at 7:30 & are back around 5. I was unsure how he would go toilet training but he hasn’t had a single accident inside. I try to get him
to go before bed & he doesn’t need to go out again until we’re all up in the morning.
The stairs have not been an issue & he tackled them from day one like a pro. For our first foster, we couldn’t have wished for a better one. I think almost any household would suit him. A couple looking for a fur baby or even an older retired person / couple. He’s happy in the company of others, but also happy to be on his own. He doesn’t mind having cuddles with you, either on the floor in his bed or up on our bed. We all love him to bits & really hope we’re setting him up well to find his forever home. Anyone would be lucky to have him. "

Popeye walks beautifully on lead and enjoys exploring the world with confidence, even tackling full staircases like a pro! Popeye may be able to go home with another medium to large dog, pending a meet and greet. He’d thrive best in a home without young children, perhaps a home with adults or older children could be where he finds his new home. A small courtyard or backyard would be ideal, as he loves to show his playful side with a zoom around the yard.
