Rocky is a sweet and sensitive greyhound looking for a loving family. With experience around kids and other greyhounds, he would make a wonderful addition to a home with a calm canine companion.
He’s polite and well-mannered with other hounds, so if you have an easy-going dog at home, Rocky could be a great match.
Indoors he is a quiet and well-behaved housemate. He settles easily & enjoys lounging on his bed. He’s comfortable being left alone for short periods and doesn’t show signs of distress or excessive vocalization during our home simulation assessments.
He’s also getting used to stairs, confidently tackling small sets but still working up to longer flights.
When it comes to small animals, Rocky is manageable and engaged with his handler. While he likely wouldn’t be suited to a home with small pets, he has shown he can remain calm in public settings with the right guidance. Rocky can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he’s comfortable, his affectionate and gentle nature shines through.
