Rocky is a delightful young boy who adores spending time with his humans. Since arriving in foster care he has learnt that the lounge is the most comfortable place to sleep, that toys are super fun (especially giant caterpillars), is now taking stairs in his stride, and has most recently learnt to independently hop out of the car at the end of the trip (still needs some help getting in). He is also learning about his reflection in windows and mirrors and that animals on the tv won’t respond to his attempts to say hello. He wants to be friends with all dogs and cats that he meets and has enjoyed living with a 9 year old child. Cuddles on the couch and neighbourhood walks are enjoyed equally and he is happy with both short snaffari walks and longer adventures. Rocky would prefer someone in his future family to be home most of the day. While ok being alone for an hour or two, he can become distressed if his humans leave him alone while at school and work. He is a sweet, sensitive, playful and sensible dog who learns quickly. Rocky is a joy to have in your home. Rocky is a handsome boy with a sweet, confident personality and a love for being involved in everyday life. He currently lives in a home with a family with a cat.
Rocky is social and well-mannered with both big and small dogs, as well as cats, making him a lovely companion for multi-pet homes. Shorter hours alone as a solo pet is best suited, or a home with longer hours with another dog present. Book in to meet Rocky at Western Sydney.
