Meet Severus 🖤

Introducing Severus, a beautiful black boy who is 4 years and 6 months old and ready to find his forever home.

Severus is a lovely boy who may start out with a little excitement or nervousness, but he settles nicely once he gets going. On his walks, he enjoyed taking his time to sniff, explore and investigate his surroundings, becoming increasingly relaxed as he went.

When it comes to people, Severus is a sweet boy who responds well to gentle interaction. He was happy to be patted and handled, and although he can be a little unsure at first, he showed increasing confidence and was happy to approach for attention. He even gave a little tail wag — a lovely glimpse of the affectionate boy underneath.

Severus travelled well and was comfortable around his fellow greyhounds. He showed no issues being around other greys and was relaxed in their company.

Severus wasn’t particularly interested in playing with a toy during his assessment, so this aspect of his personality couldn’t really be explored.

Overall, Severus is a handsome, gentle and quietly sweet boy who may take a little time to warm up, but shows lovely signs of trust and affection once he feels comfortable. He enjoys exploring at his own pace and is happy in the company of other greyhounds.

With his striking black coat, gorgeous gentle nature and those little tail wags when he starts to feel comfortable, Severus has plenty of love to give his future family. 🖤
