Words from Vera's Foster Carer:
- 🌟 Vera has been absolutely brilliant so far, especially considering this is her first foster experience with me.
- 🏠 She is a delight in the home and loves nothing more than stretching out and roaching for hours on end!
- 😴 Vera loves to sleep… and then sleep some more.
- 🥰 She has been affectionate with me from day one and absolutely loves being touched, patted and fussed over.
- 🚽 Vera has been toilet trained since day one.
- 🦮 She walks beautifully on the lead and is always happy to get up and head out when it’s walk time.
- 🚶♀️ She is becoming increasingly relaxed and comfortable when out and about.
- 🌳 She is also enjoying trips to the park and cafes and is happy to settle beside me while I sit on a bench and enjoy a coffee
- 🪜 Going up the stairs in my apartment building was no problem from day one. Going down is getting better and better. They are steep and tiled, so it’s understandable that they’ve taken a little time. Other stairs we’ve encountered have been no issue at all.
- 🍽️ Vera loves mealtimes and is very good at taking direction, she will settle and wait patiently until she is told it’s time to go for it.
- 🧊 She is loving her Kong, especially when it’s filled with treats and frozen broth.
- 👋 She is interested in all the humans she meets and has been gentle and lovely with everyone.
