OUR GREYHOUNDS

*Zena has just finished up in her foster care home & and is available to adopt! She had lived in foster with a Borzoi in an apartment and is now the office dog at GAP WS!*

*Hi, I've just gone into foster care - update below* "Gazza is going really well! He is such a lovely dog: very calm, chilled and easy to have around. He has settled into our home really well and has proven to be a wonderful companion. Gazza has been left alone for up to four hours and generally copes very well. He doesn't display any destructive behaviour. He just shows us how much he misses us by collecting our ugg boots and sleeping on them, which is rather adorable!

Foster Update:

Foster update:  He is fine when left alone will entertain himself with nil issues if he has his toys. No signs of separation anxiety, just lounges around the yard and dozes the day away.

Say hello to Basil our little cutie with pointy ears! He's confident & social and loves affection, has adorable huge pointy ears and will charm you upon meeting him!

Notes from foster: "Yes, Louie is living up to his "chill" and incredibly gentle nature. Always up for an adventure, never turns down a walk. He is an absolute pleasure on-lead, and so wonderful to see him sniff and explore his surroundings with such confidence. He does love to sniff everything! Louie just wants a safe space to truly relax and let his guard down. 

Simon is in foster care & available to adopt! Our foster care superstar Simon is a beautifully natured greyhound who is currently living with 2 greyhounds and small dogs (cavoodles).

This beautiful mature girl is all class and great company. She still enjoys getting out for a walk and meeting new people. She is comfortable and settled when left alone. Is good with different dog breeds and has seen a diverse range of animals on her south coast property.

Meet Skippy, the greyhound who never quite figured out he isn’t a kangaroo. With springs for legs and joy in his heart, Skippy bounds everywhere he goes, whether he’s leaping across the yard, bouncing into your arms, or boinging from room to room just to say hello.

True to her name, Beautiful Betty is an absolute delight, inside and out. This gorgeous greyhound is bursting with love, joy, and a personality that lights up every room she enters.

Nugget is an absolute goofball who is guaranteed to keep you smiling every single day! This fun-loving greyhound has a big personality and an even bigger love for life, he’s always ready to be right in the middle of whatever’s going on.

Meet Guthro 🐾

Nancy is the very picture of calm and kindness, a sweet, placid dog with a truly gentle nature. She moves through life at her own peaceful pace, bringing a quiet sense of comfort to everyone around her. Whether she’s resting in a sunny spot or padding softly beside her favourite people, Nancy’s presence is soothing and reassuring.

Ralph is a calm and confident Greyhound with a wonderful nature and plenty of charm. He carries himself with quiet assurance and takes life's adventures in his stride, making him a relaxed and easygoing companion.

Dave is a lovely boy with a gentle nature and a heart full of love. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people or finding himself in unfamiliar situations, all he really needs is a bit of time and reassurance to feel comfortable.

Scarlet is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl who has spent the past 12 months living as a pet while recovering from a leg injury. Thanks to plenty of care, rest, and love, she has made a full recovery and is now ready to find her forever home.

Sabrina is a happy, friendly greyhound who loves being part of the action. With her cheerful personality and interactive nature, she enjoys spending time with her people and is always keen to be involved in family life.

Buster is a handsome, friendly boy who has experience living indoors and understands the routines and comforts of home life. Having already enjoyed life as a pet, he is well placed to settle quickly into a new family environment.

Georgia is currently in foster care and has been for a couple of months, a message from her carer:

Monnie is a loving, affectionate greyhound with a playful spirit and a heart of gold. She adores spending time with her people and is always happy to be part of the family, whether that's joining in a game, going for a walk, or relaxing at home together.

This strapping gent is comfortable being the solo dog and thats what would suit him. He likes to stretch and run after balls and is a sucker for affection. This strapping fellow just needs supervision around kids due to his size and muscular build as a precaution. He comes when called and loves a pat.
