Lena may be a little shy at first, but underneath those nerves is a sweet soul who is learning to trust and discover the joys of pet life.

She has made progress since her previous assessment and has shown that, with patience and a gentle approach, she can begin to build connections with people. She even approached a handler for a little chin and cheek scratch! She has also been seen settling into a home environment alongside another greyhound, which is encouraging as she continues her journey.

This lovely girl enjoys her crate and loves swimming in the pool, and she’ll need a calm, understanding foster home to help her build confidence at her own pace. She can find new environments and interactions overwhelming, so giving her time, space and plenty of positive experiences will be key to helping her blossom.
