We hate to be the bearer of bad news, BUT if you wait any longer you could miss out on the opportunity to take home our beautiful boy Bear!
This lovely, sweet-natured boy has so much love to give to his lucky new humans. Bear enjoys his walks and is very gentle and well behaved on lead, stopping to smell the roses and take in the best of what life has to offer!
The first thing you’ll notice about this handsome boy are his adorable little white marshmallow paws, and our Marshall marshmallow’s personality is just as much of a sweet treat. Only new to the program, Marshall has already won over many hearts and proved himself to be a true gentleman.
For a young boy of only 3.5 years, Marshall is a gentle and well-mannered boy that would make a lovely addition to any part-time to full-time workers’ family. We believe Marshall could live with older children that are able to respect his space just fine. Marshall hasn’t shown too much of an interest in playing with toys in our care and he has quite the discerning taste when it comes to his treats, but he will never turn down a chance to get out and about for a little adventure and so is looking for a home with a big backyard and one where he’ll get the chance to show off his great lead manners often.
Handsome blue boy Monte is looking for a new place to call home! This 4-year-old fella is still a puppy a heart and wants some humans who will enjoy his goofy playful side as well as his affectionate and cuddly nature.
Monte adores his humans and is hoping for a home where he won’t be left alone for long hours during the day. He also loves the company of other medium/large dogs, and if you had one already at home to hang out with he would be fine for full time workers. Older kids would enjoy his playful nature, as long as they are able to give him space when he needs a break. Monte loves time indoors with his humans and would happily join you on a daily stroll through the neighbourhood, impressing everyone with his lovely lead manners.
Meet one of our smallest girl’s we have ever had! This refreshing slice of biscotti is best severed with a glass of milk on a warm summer’s day. Biscotti has come along in leaps and bounds since coming into our care.
This zestful girl is full of life and ready to share her fun-loving and positive outlook of what the world has to offer. She always has a spring in her step and has excelled with her basic training here at the kennels.
This boy Hozza is as cool calm and collected as they come. He’s more commonly know as Mr. Chill here at our kennels and turns 11 years old this year.
Hozza would ideal like a quiet home where he can enjoy the peace and quiet and sleep his days away. Don’t get us wrong though he definitely does have a spurt of energy left in him and loves to go for his daily walk around the block.
Enthusiastic, fun loving senior boy Keith here. Although he has such a personality and zest for life that you won’t recognize his age at all.
Keith absolutely loves his toys and springs into the air to try and catch them mid jump. He can be strong on lead at times but once he settles into a stride he can enjoy a leisurely stroll. Keith enjoys the company of a med- large company but doesn’t not require their company. In fact if you have a backyard and soft squishy bed he is more than happy to snooze the day away making him ok for full time hours. Keith wouldn’t mind a home with respectful children 8 years or older as long as he can have some time to relax by himself.
Not only is this Maserati shiny and luxurious, he also comes with lots of bonus features including high velocity zoomies, automatic love for every human he meets and an inbuilt navigation system which can locate any food nearby in seconds!
This fine machine may be able to reach speeds of 70km/hr but he would prefer to be parked on the couch or in a nice sunny spot on the grass most of the day. Maserati is suitable for those who work full time hours, as this gives him time to recharge and greet you with maximum love and affection when you get home. Although he does get excited to see his beloved humans, this gentle boy doesn’t jump all over you and instead puts his head on your lap asking nicely for pats! Older kids and other medium/large sized dogs are fine by Maserati (the more the merrier he thinks!). Maserati loves to cruise around town and after his initial excitement to get going has worn off he walks nicely on his lead. When you get home he will entertain you with his favourite way to cool off by splashing his feet in a bucket or paddling pool of water
Marcia is a gentle soul who is a very clean and quiet girl. she would make a great family companion and would be happy as an only dog or with another companion.
G’day, Roo here! I’m a fair dinkum greyhound looking for a you beaut’ home to call my own!
If you’re looking for an affectionate and loving greyhound than look no further than me! I love being part of a mob and having people around me most of the time. If I was the only dog in your life I would prefer to have you home with me for the majority of the day. If I had another large dog mate to spend my day with however I would be happy to hang around with them and could be left alone for longer periods. I am very polite to other dogs and have paired well with all the other greyhounds I’ve met. I am not fussed by toys however love treats like bones and kongs. Being a true blue Aussie I love the great outdoors so a backyard would be tops! I am a laid back guy and don’t require a lot of exercise, just a short daily walk or play in the backyard is enough for me. I am super excited to finally be in a home and have a family to call my own!
Looking for the complete package? Then hold the phone and stop looking. Zoro is
Matey the Dog was a homeless mixed breed that took it upon himself to make sure that revellers in Surfer’s Paradise got home safely for 12 years. A statue honouring this very good boy has stood since the 1950’s, and we have a feeling that our handsome Matey is also statue-worthy and will make enough of an impression on you to also stand the test of time. Where the two differ however, is that we know our Matey would love a home of his own, and there’s no way he’s going to be doing anything but sleeping all night!
Matey is a 2.5 year old with a stunning blue fawn coat and a personality to match. Although he’s a pretty boy, Matey isn’t afraid to get his paws dirty doing zoomies around the yard, and would love a big backyard of his own. This boy is still learning how much fun toys can be, but doesn’t mind a tasty treat.
Did anyone say handsome???
This good looking boy is Lloyd, Lloyd is a little shy and likes to build up strong bonds with his human companions. He is used to having someone around most of the time so someone who works from home would be ideal. Lloyd is well socialised with other dogs (currently lives with Pomeranians) and children. He is moderately active and would require a full sized yard. He might be a little shy but Lloyd has such a sweet nature and with the right person he will forever be your loyal companion.
You could easily be forgiven for thinking this boy’s name was Sookie! With his beautiful glossy coat and at only 1 year old, Sooty is still figuring out the world and is looking for a new family to show him all the perks of pet life.
When you meet this sweet boy, he will greet you with plenty of kisses, his tail won’t stop wagging and it won’t be long before he starts doing zoomies. Sooty is still figuring out what toys and treats are, but likes to chase after his toys and is starting to pick them up and after a bit of investigation he generally enjoys his treats too. After he’s had a chance to burn off some energy, Sooty loves nothing more than to hang out with you and he absolutely melts when he gets a good neck scratch.
This polite gent is a far cry from the loud mouth robot after which he is named. The only thing he will be stealing, is your heart!
Our Bender isn't fantasizing about the future, he just wants to spend the present with you. He is quite the smoochy boy that loves all things tasty and chewy. Toys such as kongs and long lasting treats are great while you are at work for those full time hours. Bender would benefit in a home with a yard and older/experienced children. He is happy to say a gentle hello to all breeds of dogs and may not mind a canine for company, pending a meet and greet first. He is easy to walk on lead and has a love for toys and very much enjoys to play and throw them around.
In Persian, the name Sarah translates to ‘Princess’. As such, we are sure there’s a home out there that will treat her like royalty and we know she demands nothing less!
Her beautiful blue coat will captivate you and her affectionate, bright personality will win you over. Sarah has no time for such trivial things as playing with toys and only the finest treats will do for this girl, but she is more than happy to mingle with the commoners, both human and canine.
The first thing that comes up when you Google “Archie” is everything Royal, and even though our Archie is not officially apart of the Royal family, he is quite regal and royal within himself, how his beautiful blue brindle coat shines in the sun, and the way he prances around his yard.
Trot, Trot, Trot.
Look closely at Bear's picture and you can see that this guy is a bit of a character. Bear loves to be the life of the party! He is an active boy who would need a home that is willing to spend a bit of time keeping him occupied. Bear is a fun loving young boy who just wants to be loved. Bear is ok with larger dogs only and will require a full sized yard. A home with experienced owners would be preferable.
Don't let the grey look fool you, as they say age is only a number! Dale may be 7yrs old but he is just as spritely as in his prime. He loves to still run around the yard and play. Once he has had his exercise he loves to just laze around in the sun and enjoy life. Dale would be suited to a home with no children, older children or retirees. Full sized yard required.
