Licorice is a big, sooky boy with an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves being around his people and thrives on companionship, affection, and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who wants to be part of everything you do, Licorice is your guy.
He enjoys an active lifestyle and will happily join you for walks and playtime, but his new family will need to be mindful of his leg and ensure his exercise is appropriate and not overly strenuous. A balanced routine that keeps him engaged without overdoing it will suit him best.
Licorice can be prone to separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where someone works from home or is around for much of the day. Alternatively, a well-matched female dog friend could help keep him company and build his confidence when left alone.
Due to his size and excitability, Licorice would be best suited to a home with older children who can handle his enthusiasm and help maintain calm, consistent boundaries.
