Meet Mel 🐶

This beautiful girl can be a little bit shy to start with but warms up quickly. Her quiet and gentle nature is always shining through. She walks well on the lead, always happy to take treats. Mel is the queen of zoomies and loves her toys squeaky and fluffy toys🧸 She would love a home where someone could throw a ball 🥎 for her and a bit of space to stretch her legs. 

After burning her energy, Mel loves pats and cuddles and would love the chance to be an inside dog. Once she has settled into new environments, her affectionate and cheeky side really starts to show, running off to hide her toys. 

Mel is a country girl at heart, used to farm noises🚜and gets on very well with other Greyhounds and has even had some play dates with a Great Danes and Maremma. She would be fine as an only dog if you’re mostly at home or take her places, otherwise with another greyhound or a whippet. Mel would be ok with  older children. She loves being around her people and could even be a good assistance dog as she is used to being around her current carer in a wheelchair 👨‍🦽
