Meet Pete 🐾

Pete is an easy-going, happy and calm boy who has settled beautifully into home life. He’s been living indoors with other Greyhounds, a Pointer and a Staffy, and gets along well with them all. He’s also met the household cat and showed no interest in her wandering around, making him a very relaxed housemate.

Pete loves a car ride and is a pleasure to walk on lead. He’s not reactive to passing people, children or other dogs, and takes everything in stride. Large, busy crowds like those around shopping centres can make him a little hesitant at first, but overall he handles the world calmly and politely.

At home, Pete is a classic Greyhound — happiest when he’s relaxing on his bed. When he’s not enjoying a snooze, you might find him chasing a ball or toy and even taking it outside himself for a little playtime. Otherwise, he’s content to rest nearby or quietly check in to see what you’re up to. At night, Pete sleeps on his bed beside yours — though if there’s space, he might even squeeze himself under the bed for a cozy hideaway!

Pete would make a lovely companion in a multi-dog household or with someone who is home more often than not. He truly enjoys being around his people and is an easy-care, affectionate boy who will happily keep you company through the day.
