He's social and enjoys the company of other medium to large dogs, especially those who can keep up with his playful energy.
Popeye would thrive in an active household or with someone who has a secure backyard where he can stretch those long legs and get his daily dose of fun. He's also happy just hanging out once he's had his play, he knows how to chill when the time is right.
When it comes to walks, Popeye has been doing really well with his training. He's learning to stay focused and calm, especially when small dogs are around. He does best when you bring his favourite toy along, it helps redirect his attention and keeps him happily engaged with you.
Ongoing positive training and consistent management have helped him progress beautifully.
