Hey! I'm Tanooki and I'm ready to find my new best friends.

Tanooki is an affectionate, fun-loving boy with a lot of personality! He absolutely loves people and is happiest when he's included in whatever is going on. Playtime is one of Tanooki's favourite things. He loves stretching his long legs with a good run, showing off his joyful zoomies, and enjoying a game with his canine friends. He is polite and social with other greyhounds and generally enjoys the company of other dogs. When meeting smaller dogs, he does best with slow, thoughtful introductions so everyone has time to become comfortable. Tanooki even has the potential to live with cats, provided there are gradual, respectful introductions.

Tanooki is looking for a home where someone is around more often than not to help him settle into his new routine. He would also enjoy having a confident canine companion to keep him company, although this isn't essential if his people can provide him with plenty of time, companionship, and inclusion.

Because Tanooki can be enthusiastic and a little boisterous when he's excited, he would be best suited to a home with children aged 10 years and over who can comfortably enjoy his playful nature.
