Wendall is at the beginning of his pet life and, after recently settling into the kennels, he has shown us he is very much a gentle giant. As he transitions into this new stage, he is being introduced to everyday routines, handling and domestic-style experiences at a pace that allows him to build understanding and confidence.
We have noticed that Wendall prefers having his people nearby and appears most comfortable when he has human company. He generally gets along well with other greyhounds and may suit a home with another compatible canine companion, pending a meet and greet.
At this stage, Wendall appears more settled outdoors than indoors, suggesting he may appreciate a home with access to a secure yard while he continues adjusting to household living. Like many greyhounds early in their retirement, he will benefit from a family willing to guide him through the transition from kennel routine to home life with patience and consistency.
Despite his size, Wendall has lovely moments of calm and gentle interaction, and he could suit a family with children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. As he continues gaining exposure and experience, we expect his confidence within the home environment to keep developing.
If you are ready to support Wendall as he navigates this exciting next stage, he may be the perfect addition to your home. Enquire now.
