Wighton is a lovely black greyhound with a calm, gentle nature and a true appreciation for the quieter side of life. At just over seven years old, he is a mature, easygoing boy who enjoys comfort, routine, and plenty of relaxation.
Wighton walks nicely on lead and is a pleasure to take out, moving along at a steady pace while enjoying a quiet sniff and explore of his surroundings. He approaches the world with a relaxed and settled attitude, taking things in stride and remaining calm in new environments.
He is a friendly and affectionate dog who enjoys pats and gentle attention, happily soaking up affection without being demanding. Wighton has a soft presence and is content to spend his time lounging on a comfortable bed and simply being near his people.
Wighton is social and relaxed around other greyhounds and shows polite, low-key behaviour when meeting smaller dogs, offering calm and respectful greetings. He also travels well and settles comfortably in shared spaces.
He would suit a calm home where he can enjoy a peaceful routine, making him well suited to both house and apartment living. Wighton may particularly enjoy being the only dog in the home, where he can fully relax and soak up the comforts of a quiet environment.
