We have a very special boy here at our Western Sydney kennels and ready to fly into his new home. That’s right we have out very own Falcon who has been searching high and low for a new nest to call his own.
Falcon is a confident young bird with a playful personality. Falcon has shown polite manners with other male greyhounds here at the kennels, so if his new home was to have a male companion that would be quiet alright with him. He can be strong on leash at times so would benefit from a harness.
Timothy?! Timmy?! Nah just Tim! Although, we don’t think he minds the odd nickname thrown in too!
There’s a nursery rhyme called “Tiny Tim” but this is our version…
Get SYKED to meet your new best friend! This sweet and affectionate (and did we mention handsome!?) 3 year old boy is just can’t wait to be your most loyal and loving companion
Sykes loves his walkies and being a more confident hound, he would happily join you at the coffee shop or keep you company while you do your errands around town (he does enjoy a good trip to Bunnings!). He will even help you make friends as he trots up tail wagging to passers-by hoping for a pat. Skyes loves to be a part of the family and is hoping his forever home will be one where he is allowed to spend time indoors with his beloved humans and join in the fun and games (such as snoozing with you on the couch). Older kids would be just fine by Sykes provided they are respectful of his space when he needs it. Sykes is suitable for part-time or casual workers provided you live in a quieter area and have opaque fencing, however if you already have another medium/large canine pal for him to hang with he is suitable for those who work longer hours.
There’s a song by Neil Diamond and he sings “Shilo, when I was young, I used to call your name, when no one else would come, Shilo, you always came, and you’d stay.”, but with saying that our Shilo is still learning his name, so may not always come but will stay.
This lovely guy is ready for his retired, relaxed life, where he can waste his days away laying in the sun, catching up on some sleep, have a little play, eat some treats and sleep some more. He has already started turning grey, and more will come, but he is easy on the eye.
Like the photo? you will see this view from Emmie A LOT! If looking for that all round dog that has a tad of spice followed by large amount of sweetness and sugar Emmie ticks all the boxes. Emmie can be a bit bouncy when first meeting people but settles quickly ( like about 30 seconds in) and that's all she has in the tank. She is a petite girl that will make the most perfect pet for a family looking for a low key gal and would be great with older children.
Emmie loves being around people and will take any chance she can to snuggle onto the couch if given a chance and would be ideal for full time workers as well as she is pretty lazy . She would fit into any household with ease and is located at Leppington. She will require a space to wander in so no townhouses or units would like to be an only pet
Nell is looking for a new family that is quiet with a comfy bed and fluffy blankets. Her bed is definitely his happy place however she is more than willing to get out of it for breakfast and the odd toddle to the coffee shop but needs to be back home in time for afternoon siesta! She quiet yet friendly and outgoing making her the ideal pet for a retired couple who really want a dog to love and share their days with but doesn't want to walk every day ( or even ever second day...). A quiet home is for Nell so no children or other pets please and she is perfect for townhouse living with a yard to wander in ( No units please)
Don't be put off by this grey face - Abbie is the perfect love machine just waiting to enrich your life and give you a reason to appreciate each and every day. She is not opposed to sharing your breakfast and would like you to know that peanut butter on toast is her preferred choice and then she will share a chill out in the arvo with you watching the TV.
She has perfect manners and is still very active so the occasional walk will be more than fine to go along with the yard space you will have. She is perfect for a townhouse providing there is grass for her to go on and no units please.
Have you been dreaming of adopting the perfect greyhound? Well look no further because we’ve found her! Her name is Steffi and she is ready for you to come and meet her at our Western Sydney site!
Steffi is a lovely white and black beauty who is very human social and loves to spend time with us. She can settle on her own for a few hours at a time and would love a backyard to spend her day in. She loves splashing in the shell pool and flicking water around! It’s her favourite thing to do. She also loves to play with toys and would love an array of things to keep her busy while you are out.
Need some added sweetness to make your life complete? Are you someone that always like that little something extra? Why not try some sweet, colourful Sprinkles?! Sprinkles will be the finishing touch that you’ve been looking for.
Sprinkles is a young, very energetic girl who would benefit from some space to run around and a lot of daily enrichment. Being such a young dog she is still very full of beans! She doesn’t like to be left alone for too long so would suit a family who permanently work from home. She is happy being inside with her family and can settle very nicely on her own bed. She loves toys, treats and food based enrichment including snuffle boxes! She also has a cheeky habit of taking things from the bin. Named Sprinkles for the beautiful colours in her brindle coat she is a very pretty little girl. She is very human social and loves to be around us here at GAP. She would make a very fun and loving pet for older children or younger children who have been around energetic dogs before.
All aboard Platform 9 ¾ - The Dogwarts Express is heading to GAP!
Harry Pawter has just arrived at our school of Dogcraft and Sniferry and the sorting ceremony is about to start!
Hello. The name’s Bruce. I may have a toothy overbite but I promise I am no shark!
I would like a human to be my one and only. I don't mind if you work full time but i would enjoy a quiet area for me to slowly adjust to. Please know, i do take a little time to come out of my shell, but once i do I'm am the sweetest boy! Treats are my favorite, i love chicken breast but sometimes i get cheese when i am an extra good boy and that makes my whole day! I love to go for a gentle wander around the local quiet area with my great lead manners, however I would appreciate someone willing to start off with shorter walks as I get used to the big, wide world. I am still learning to enjoy being indoors so I will need a backyard to retreat to as I please and a quieter home with no kids would be best. Treaties will help with teaching me to enjoy new parts of pet life and when it comes to yummy chicken treats I am a mindless eating machine!
Coota the cootest greyhound!
Odd name we know, but it makes up for his fun and loving personality! This boy is sure to make you giggle daily with his quirks and mischievous games. He is yet to learn that treat pouches aren’t considered as toys, but is quick to learn they are full of tasty treats!
Looking for a couple of happy go lucky, chicken friendly, livestock friendly dudes to join your home? Matty and Joey might just fit the bill. They have been with each other since birth and although they can be rehomed separately, they really would make a great pair to go together as they have spent every day together.
They are great for casual/fulltime workers or a family with older teens and they currently live with chickens who are in a separate yard ( see video). Like any pair, one is more active ( Joey) and one is more laid back ( Matty) although they like to take over each other's personalities and switch so you never know who is going to be who on any one day.
Looking for a fun loving, super friendly, life of the party and out to make the most of every single day you have on this planet chickee babe to do stuff with? Then this chickadee might be the girl for you! Perfect for families with kids over 8 ( she grew up with 4 children of her own) or people who want to have a dog in their life and not just “have a dog”. She would also be the perfect dog for an active person wanting a dog to walk/jog with as she has boundless amounts of energy to share.
Milly wants to be with you, go places with you and do stuff with you. She is not a sit at home on her own and feed her once a day gal so please only apply if you want her to be a part of your life. Perfect for a home with another active dog that can match her on game on games :)
Say “hey Girl” to your new best friend! He name may not be very original, but believe us, this sweetheart sure is one-of-a-kind.
Sweet, affectionate little Girly is looking for a home where someone is home more often than not to pamper and spoil her – perhaps you are retired looking for a companion or work from home looking for an adorable distraction. She prefers human company to that of other animals and is therefore best suited to being the only pet of the household. She would however be happy to share her new home with some human girls (and boys) 13 years old and up who will enjoy her silly side. Girl loves to strut her stuff and has beautiful lead manners on her walkies, but will require a quieter neighbourhood as she is still getting used to the hustle and bustle of pet life. When you get home, Girl would love nothing more than to join you indoors and hang out on the couch making her the perfect Netflix and chill partner.
This beautiful boy is the whole package! Ronnie is laidback, well adjusted and extremely social. After a quick spin around the yard Ronnie will be happy just following you around or laying around in the aircon on a nice sunny day. Ronnie is compatible with most dogs however not suitable for homes with cats or chickens. Ronnie is housetrained so all the work is done, all he needs is his forever home.
If you are searching for a ready made life companion then Ronnie is the man for you.
This friendly little guy goes by the name of Blitz.. and to some of his hooman pals Blitzy.
Blitz is looking for his fur-ever home, could this be yours?!
Thor – Mighty God of thunder and lightning and protector of mankind. He has been fighting frost giants and serpents for centuries too long and has decided to finally put down Mjolnir his hammer and retire as a God to be waited on paw-to-paw.
He might not be all brawn and muscle but our Thor is still quite heavenly on the eyes with his long slender figure. And he has the personality to match – Thor is suuuuuper social and friendly! He loves pats SO MUCH that we can't seem to get photos of him doing anything else! He likes treats and toys but his real soft spot is for his human companions. From the moment he meets you, he’ll be buttering you up with his big puppy dog eyes and conning you into some good ear scratches.
*cue Rocky theme song*
In the blue corner today we have the rambunctious Rocky, known for his striking good looks and smashing personality, this boy is an absolute knockout! He’s raring to go and ready to win his biggest battle yet… the battle for your heart!
The aptly named Speedy is looking for a new home. She feels the need, the need for speed! And speedy she is as she runs around the backyard doing zoomies. This swift little female is a perfect combination of energetic and relaxed- the ultimate greyhound.
